Babies/Toddlers/Kids

We pride ourselves at Artagnan for being child friendly (and parent friendly too of course!) as we have 3 children of our own.

With all the paraphernalia that comes with babies and toddlers, we would be happy to shop in advance for nappies, wet wipes, full fat milk etc. so it is all here waiting for you on your arrival. There is no charge for this service (just pay for your items).

All your beds will be made up with "The White Company" bed linen so all you have to do is make yourself at home.

Outside
On the large flat grassy area there are goal posts, balls of all shapes and sizes, swing ball, a badminton/volleyball net, swings, a slide and a sandpit with buckets and spades.
On the flat courtyard area is a basketball net, table tennis table, boules, toddler pusher, sit-on pedal digger ,go-karts, bike with stabilisers, kids bikes up to 10/11 years, helmets and 2 adult bikes with a detachable child seats.
From a safety perspective the swings, slide and sandpit (under the shade of an oak tree) are entirely separate from the fenced off pool area. The pool is also alarmed.
It goes without saying that these security measures in no way replace parental supervision and surveillance of all children.

Inside
0 to 5 years - Soft toys, books, dolls, cars, wooden train set, farmyard animals, puzzles, games and much more. There are also plenty of books and DVD's for slightly older children (5 - 12 years).
Also in the TV/family room there is a small trampoline and an old school desk which is ideal for sitting at and drawing/colouring on. The large (127 cm) LCD TV receives French channels and UK satellite channels including sports and movies.
This room is always cooler inside than outside and a great place for every age group to chill out.

Local children's activities
A water park with aqua slides, a pony riding centre, pottery classes, an animal park and for the larger children (adults too) a tree top adventure park. White water rafting is available in the Pyrenees ans is great fun for all the larger family members.

Not forgetting the parents, there is a "centre of well being" 10 minutes away offering lovely relaxing Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology, Swedish Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reiki and Shiatsu Massage (visit their website: SpotOnCentre.com). Sports massages can also be arranged at Artagnan. We are more than happy to book appointments in advance for you.
